Pr Kay Nixon is the Community Pastor for Blackall Range Uniting Churches.
Kay has been involved in the Uniting Church since its beginning and has worked in Creative Ministries in NSW and Qld as well as the UK. Many would know her work as part of ‘The Parable People’, with husband, Tony, performing for all ages and running programs and workshops.
Based in Palmwoods, Kay helps to lead worship and facilitate services as well as organising ‘Reflection in the Garden’ twice a month. She also helps to care for the pastoral needs of the church members and community.
Kay is the Project Manager for ‘Soil & Soul’, Palmwoods Community Garden which has become a place of connection between the church and the community.
As someone passionate about helping to encourage the experience of the divine in lives, Kay is very involved in community events and available to help throughout the broader parish in finding new and creative ways to connect and inspire people of all ages and backgrounds.
